The Dickinson Dream program started in Fall of 2015 organizing youth (girls) in the 2nd – 6th grades in Dickinson, ND and surrounding communities to teach the fundamentals of basketball. In the summer of 2016, the Dickinson Dream increased its capacity to include instruction and activities for 1st – 8th Grade Girls and Boys. The Dickinson Dream's key focus on any programs offered will be on empowering our youth with the ability to make positive decisions on and off the court by enhancing individual strengths in a team setting.
Since its inception in October of 2015, the Dickinson Dream has enrolled over 200 program participants in a variety of recreational and competitive activities. The Dickinson Dream is continuing to develop a year-round basketball program by offering a variety of opportunities to include but not limited to instructional skill camps, recreational and competitive leagues, motivational basketball events, and competitive tournaments. Dickinson Dream will continue to recruit, instruct, motivate, train, coach, teach and encourage the leaders of tomorrow…the youth of Dickinson.
